Des isn't a grad assistant. I'm fine with him being retained as long as Napier thinks he adds the most value at whatever he needs. No loyalty hires, friend hires, nothing but best person for the job.

A dumb question.....does the $2 million cover ONLY Assistant coaches or does that include director of football operations, player personnel, offensive analysts, GAs, etc...? Cause with $2 million, just assistants, you could pay them an average of $200k per year.

Most position coaches at the G5 level make 80k-100k.

Most analysts make 40k-50k at the P5 level.

I would imagine we are going to pay coordinators around 225k

It's crazy how far we've come. I think I remember Bustle earning like 200-300k when he left, now we're looking to pay that for our coordinators. Hud dug his own hole, but he did help move our program forward for sure. Napier would not have been an option for us as a coach 6-7 years ago because we were considered a graveyard.
