Bama would probably counter with a significant pay raise but I'd try to Karl Dunbar as DC. He's 20 years into coaching and has never been higher than a defensive line coach. Maybe he'd like the opportunity. He's from Louisiana, knows Napier and is supposedly a great recruiter.

The reason of Napier not coming till after bowl game is why he makes Hull his urgent hire and we don’t miss a beat. In fact we set recruiting at UL on fire just as Hull did at Kansas!

Des isn't a grad assistant. I'm fine with him being retained as long as Napier thinks he adds the most value at whatever he needs. No loyalty hires, friend hires, nothing but best person for the job.

That's the way it's gotta be across everyone in our athletic office.

Football drives the entire sports program, especially when it comes to national perception, and conference affiliation. To do this right, we have to commit to raising the bar on football.

You are right. Authemont warned us about this. Once you let boosters get involved, you lose your iron clad grip over everything and actually have to be accountable
