Thank you for your congratulations. As I said earlier, thanks also go to the Tech fans for treating the Cajun fans graciously at your arena last night.

Gant is by far and away the best of the 3 new transfers. He's very impressive!

I have watched every game this year and I can tell you Miller has been critical in a couple. He really helped us against Richmond and he was a key guy in the comeback at Nicholls. Last night he did not play as much because Bryce was doing well. At Nicholls, Bryce was struggling and Justin picked up the slack. That is what successful teams do, when one guy is off someone else picks them up. Also, Russell does struggle to create his own shot. However the offense is geared for him to usually be in the catch and shoot mode. All three he hit last night were big baskets. He also did better defensively and handling the ball when he had to last night than in some previous games. Stroman was an 80 percent free throw shooter at South Carolina. Hope he gets back to that level soon.

Stroman is a true PG, but the guy needs to work on his FT shooting. Hope he's putting in the time.

Russell has difficulty getting his own shot. He should improve as the season progresses, but so far, he's not been as much of a factor as I had hoped.

Hardy seems to make more bad plays than good.

Bartley is either hot or cold. When hot, look out. When cold, sit him down. But...he plays hard ALL THE TIME, and that is a huge plus.

Stove is probably our steadiest player. Very solid.

Washington seems to be making a higher % of shots at the rim, thankfully. He missed a lot over the past couple of seasons, which was strange because he seemed to make all of them his FR year. He has worked on his FT shooting, but still tosses more than strokes it at times.

Miller seems to be the odd man out this season, not getting a lot of minutes. I do expect there will be games where he's a match-up problem and he'll produce. He physically looks great.

Davis must be in the doghouse or is not producing in practice. He had a really good showing in one of they Cayman Island games. Thought we'd be seeing more of him.

Stalcup wasn't even used last night which says a lot.

Miller did very well in the Nicholls game. He was key to our comeback. Bryce was doing well last night so he was not needed as much.

Mike, I was just looking over the stat sheet and I see the attendance is listed at a little over 3,400. Do you think that many were at the game? Capacity of the TAC is 8,000.

I'd be surprised if there was 2,000 at the game.

Not close to 3400--I think maybe 1500

Losing to a southland conference foe at home the week before probably took the edge off. As for the Cajun win, any win on the road these days is a good win, especially when the necksters are on the receiving end.

Game reminded me of our games in the 60s & early 70s. Battle to the end. Runs, crazy shots made, talent on the court. Have always loved beating these guys but also just loved the series.

That ULL/ULM BS is bus-league for a university. Fans doing it is one thing and I could not give 2 Fs what a neck fan calls us but for an athletic dept to engage in such pettiness shows their true colors.

SFA is not your normal SLC team. When they went to the NCAA tournament with their previous coach, they had success. This year they are 9 and 1 with a road victory at Mississippi State. A few Tech fans may think that the Bulldogs may have taken SFA lightly. I assure you their players and coaches did not. Just like they did not take us lightly. Both games went down to wire and Tech could have won both.

Neckster fans were down on their coach for not having the team fired up and ready for us.....claimed they just went through the motions for the first half and didn't get serious until midway through the second. Dunno, I wasn't there, listened to it on the radio which is no where near as good as watching.
