These girls seem talented maybe grades out of HS hurt their chances to go D1
Cultist tears taste so salty
you must not be a softball fan. if you were around the sport enough, you would know that there are good players all across the country, even at Gulf Coast State College and the Lamar's of the country. don't discount a player because she came from a small school or a school you never heard of before. a girl from Idaho State led the country in div 1 softball in batting average last year. your argument would be, if she would have played against better competition she wouldn't have been number 1. and you would be right, but she wouldn't be hitting .092 either, i can guarantee that. good hitters know how to hit. so by your standards, UL should never have accepted the transfer a few years back from Illinois State. well, Becky McMurtry turned out to be a 2 time Sunbelt Conference player of the year, ( the first person to do that in consecutive years ), NFCA All American second team, NFCA All South first team player. trust the coaches to do their homework on these players. there is a reason he is going after these players. coach glasco plays a power game, doubles and home runs and speed to manufacture runs. the Lamar transfer you are disappointed with, Rodriguez, is a top of the lineup batter. good batting average, but has excellent speed. the other 2 transfers are good hitters who have power. if you would know coach's game plan, then you can see why he is accepting these transfers in. some transfers pan out and some dont, but don't criticize a decision in december, 2 months before first pitch. if you want to criticize, then you have to wait til june. IN GLASCO WE TRUST. geaux cajuns
