This article mentions the UTSA head coach as a candidate. I guess I would be surprised by his interest being at a cusa school and already being a HC. Thoughts?

Also, UTSA has lots of competition. Spurs and UT to name a couple. Success here and he would be the toast of the town. That may attract him here.

That's what I figured. Based on the last two seasons, I wouldn't be surprised if preliminary searches were being done a month or two ago.

"Someone who can build relationships with our Cajun Culture", "can build relationships with our players", "someone who can recruit", and "He will be a proven winner from successful programs." I thought he was describing Les Miles when he said all that.

I've always liked Les. I've always loved his alpha male, "enough chest", grass eating, mad hat wearing style.

My concern would be that he was just a larger than life, more likeable version of our previous coach.

It would be an absolute blast for a couple of years with Les, then back to square 1.

I'm a little surprised he hasn't taken a job yet.

If he hasn't been offered yet by the P5 schools, somebody is not doing their homework.
