I've always liked Les. I've always loved his alpha male, "enough chest", grass eating, mad hat wearing style.

My concern would be that he was just a larger than life, more likeable version of our previous coach.

It would be an absolute blast for a couple of years with Les, then back to square 1.

I'm a little surprised he hasn't taken a job yet.

If he hasn't been offered yet by the P5 schools, somebody is not doing their homework.

Les has a great sense of humor and doesn’t take himself to seriously. He can also recruit and develop talent. Those are not traits he shares with our former coach.

Rumors are that Sumlin is in the mix at Oregon (Willie Taggert to FSU). Also, Chad Morris to Arkansas and Sumlin to SMU, which would make a lot of sense for Sumlin.

Move swiftly... but in no rush? What does that look like in real life? That's something a woman tells you to do. But normally, the only way that's going to happen is if you think of something other than what you're doing. That wouldn't make us make the right hire... but I guess it would prevent premature contractualation.
