    Default Coaching candidates

    Let's consolidate to this page.

Mike Houston - HC from James Madison. Won national title last year and has won 24 straight games. Previously coached the Citadel and has wins over South Carolina and ECU. Has a defensive back ground and has shown willingness to change offense based on program. Ran triple option with Citadel and more traditional spread with JMU.

He's definitely a winner. Interesting that he played tight end in college, but immediately went into coaching on the defensive side. He seems to bring winning and championships wherever he goes.

Impressive numbers for sure, on that level. Not sure how it translates to FBS, but yes it does show he can win. Kinda like another coach that was pretty good at a lower level... you might know him as ....Hud. Seriously though, he is certainly worth checking out.
