Bustle's record the past 2 years, 11-14, and we fired him.

    Gamble.

Ok, I'll admit when I'm wrong.
If Boomer is agreeing on the Nussy thing, I must be a.s.s. backwards..

Not saying we should hire him.. He is a great recruiter also took UTSA to their first bowl game ever last year

They had also only won 7 games the previous 2 seasons. Going 12-12 with a win over Baylor not bad when you look at whole picture.

At the very least, a Splash hire that does not work out has at least shown that you are trying to get noticed, and believe it or not, that has value to your program.
Of course, I want any hire to work out, but I agree with this logic. It'd be nice to have the mothership and most everyone else saying, "damn, they're serious down there on the bayou".

Baylor? Liberty beat Baylor. N.P. Moss could beat Baylor.

I don't mean to dump on Wilson. Of the names mentioned, I would rank him behind Canada, Sumlin and Pry. Toss up with Henson. I just think we have a shot to make a HUGE splash here. I say we take it, but if the aforementioned trio don't want it, I got no problem rolling with Wilson. I just hope his staff is lights out.
