You might beg to differ, but I believe the Sunbelt is a coaches conference. It seems to me there's not a tremendous difference in talent and depth in the top 5 SBC football programs. The quality of the HC and his coaching staff is the biggest difference maker for contending for conference championships or not. JMHO.
Hud was a great motivator and recruiter however he was a terrible X& O coach and loved to micromanage he would win games on sheer talent alone that's why we could never beat the P5 school or a team more talented than us .. I'm hoping we get a smart passionate coach that lets his assistants do their job

WHAATT? He was a terrible recruiter. He was routinely out recruited by Tech and Tulane. Please name a NFL player on our roster.

I'm all in on Canada. My second choice would be Pry and I also really like this Henson guy from OSU.

I fully recognize the fact that none of us know how the interviews are going behind closed doors. I'm just going off of resumes and bios I find online. And on paper, Canada sure does seem like the most exciting option.

    I'd be disappointed with Nussmeier

Don't be shocked if Henson is in the final three in the end. JMO

Those 3 are good "names", not sure about how well they would do here. I don't get that warm fuzzy with any of those choices. Sumlin would be better than those if it came down to it, I think.

I don't like the fact that Henson went from an OC, to lower positions. Why didn't he get offered somewhere at OC if he was good at it? That stands out to me. I'm not thrilled about him at all.

I think you are reading too much in his positions movement. Check with BasinBear, he will tell you what he thinks of Henson and what others are saying about him.
