To make an omelette, you gotta break some eggs.

Since the Troy game, LSU is 6-1 with victories over 3 ranked schools while averaging nearly 30 points/game....in the SEC West.

Canada has crushed it in BR and those fools will let O run him out of town.

Louisiana Lafayette: Sources tell FootballScoop AD Bryan Maggard has been very encouraged by the level of interest shown in his open head coaching position. Our source said, “we’ve never seen the depth of high quality coaches calling in for this job.” Although we haven’t heard of a list of “finalists”, we continue to hear of coaches such as Brent Pry (Penn State defensive coordinator), Doug Nussmeier (Florida OC with Jim McElwain…and former New Orleans Saints QB), LSU OC Matt Canada all being “in the mix” along with a deep pool of assistants & FCS head coaches with deep ties within the state of Louisiana. Will update as more is clear in this search.

    Correct.

I look at him and I see the long list of former NFL guys that have face planted as college head coaches.

Actually, that game started the rocky relationship between Canada and Orgeron. Apparently Orgeron told him to "dumb down" his offense. Basically, stop with all the motions and shifts, which effectively neutered the scheme.

I was being sarcastic in light of those that have said that same things about Canada. Like Canada, he does have a very good resume.

That's a convenient narrative...convenient enough to give LSU exactly what it wants.
