True, but they play against the best offenses and QBs in the country. Their offense has been pretty bad all year and their defense spent way to much time on the field. I watch a lot of TT football and they have improved tremendously on that side of the ball since his arrival. His defenses at Houston were turnover machines.

Not saying it can't happen, just that it is a stretch and not worth the risks imo. Herman also he had 20 years coaching experience came from Ohio State (not FAU) and inherited an AAC program with a lot easier access to those NYE bowls.

Yea....I watch a lot of the Pac 12 after dark games, so I have seen Wazzu a good bit. I love the way their defense is playing this year.

It is not a stretch that he, K. Briles, could take this program to new heights. He has everything we need, in coaching ability, and the top offensive experts he has learned from is about as much of a sure thing that you can get when hiring a coach for our level. He is now showing that ability at FAU and he will be scooped up, and will take a program to the top 20, I can almost guarantee it. We will kick ourselves in the butt for missing out on a fantastic hire. The side drama that you keep bringing up is in the past and he was not responisble for it. He is doing fine currently without any issues surrounding him. I think our fans would give him a chance.
