I don't see Canada or pry being a "splash". Wilson would be a bigger splash. Like I said I'd take Wilson over all candidates that have been rumored. I'd put him on par with henson.

Sumlin is only person we have discussed who would be a true splash.

One way to get instant fan buy in...hire Sumlin. Overnight you can all but assure 40k fans for the home opener. RCAF memberships will go up, the RV tailgating wait list comes back...the ROI doesn’t get any higher. Sumlin is a houshold name, he.ll my wife knows who Kevin Sumlin is. I think the odds are slim but if Mags gets Sumlin in Lafayette, it will be so huge.

If he pulls that off tear down the bell and build a statue of Dr. Maggard

Wilson wouldn't be a big splash in my opinion. He is a fantastic recruiter, but his results have been mediocre as a HC at UTSA. And they have more funding than UL right now. But he has a good resume for certain.

The silence out of the athletic department is deafening. And it infuriates me too. LOL. But gotta hand to Maggard though, he's running a tight ship.

Although I too am anxious, I am loving the way Dr. Maggard operates so far!

Alas, I guess we Cajun fans have to get used to the fact that we have a professional AD now.

To be fair, it IS a very disorienting situation.
