His name is still coming up with people I talk to. As of mid week, he had not been interviewed.

Not a fan of getting another Alice Shoe reject as our HC since the last time that worked out so well. Alice Shoe's offense the past few years has been less than stellar when needed to be firing on 8 cylinders. Nothing personal, just based on history.

Correct. I couldn’t understand the context. Sumlin being mentioned as the New OC at LSU. Which, personally I’m not tracking coordinators spots. I’m looking at who needs a HC. I have a bit of difficulty seeing Sumlin as an OC at LSU, though being a Coordinator in the SEC is still better position than Louisiana HC at THIS time. We get a good HC who can win a string of conference championships, bowl games and see us through the stadium renovations; we could be in good shape for 2020 realignment.

I heard it was just a one year extension of the existing contract. But I certainly don’t have first hand knowledge.

I could be wrong about the years but I remember reading about a $40,000 contract and Townsquare had to buy a certain amount of season tickets to football, both basketball teams, baseball and softball. It could just be a one year extension but I remember Maggard talking about multimedia rights on 1420

Maggard said we’re not doing anything long term. He was evaluating everything, and 2018/19 would be when he’d make longer decisions.

Well, to be fair to OC's, I think we can all agree that a head coach is capable of screwing with a good OC's gameplan.
