A friend of mine with past ties to local media told me that rights to Cajun broadcasts were being evaluated and would be put out for bid. He claims that the owner of Delta Media (103.7) will not be out bid, even if it meant taking a loss at first.

Actually Townsquare media signed a contract with the university over the summer to be the official broadcasters of the Ragin’ Cajuns. I believe the contract is good for a couple years if not more.

I would imagine for a media member it’s not about refinement but accuracy. Not a lot of accurate info coming from this site. It is fun though.

That's not even close to true. Yes, we miss, like even the vaunted media accuracy nazis.
But a lot of accurate information comes from this website. It's been proven time and time again.
