What is the likelihood that Hud would sell UL to Sumlin after having been fired?

Hud was quoted recently saying he agreed with Maggard’s decision and the time was right to turn over the baton. So if Sumlin asks Hud what Lafayette was like for him and his family it is not out of the realm of possibility that Hud had great things to say about the city at least.
