So, in your humble opinion, why is giving him another year "the right thing to do" just because he's coming off of probation (that he caused)?

It did but the university can’t hardly hold him accountable for something after they adamantly defended him and said he did nothing wrong. They would open themselves up to NCAA and wrongful termination. It’s best they stay away from that from their side.

Agree, but that works both ways, they don't have to come out and say it, but they should not keep him around if the sole reason is to see what he does once the sanctions are lifted.

From day one I’ve contended that he knew exactly who he was hiring. He hired a guy that he didn’t have to give orders to cheat. Plausible deniability for him. He just thought he’d be on a fast track outta here before they got caught.

Yes, he’s absolutely responsible for schloraship losses. No it’s not just fair to let him have another year now. His record is his record including vacated wins. He’s got a losing record.

How would lifting the sanctions help him in any significant way next year, especially with his track record of bringing in talent? Seems they'd have to give him a couple more years at least if that was what they were planning.
