I am not saying this should prevent us from making hard decisions. I am saying that we just need to consider the impact to others if a change is made. I know these guys realize these times are part of the deal of being involved in college coaching and they know they are often hired to be fired. That still does not make it easy to deal with people celebrating they lost their jobs. Once again let's be sensitive to the fact more people are impacted here than just Coach Hudspeth.

If hud is replaced hopefully the new coach retains Dezmo, and gives the man a raise too.

If not I'm sure he would have no problem at the least finding a HS head coaching gig.

With all due respect Mike, nobody’s celebrating anyone’s being fired. Still they’ll all be paid their contract through June 2018. I’m confident if they’re competent assistants they’ll find employment. If they’re not? Hardly anyone gets six months severance, so they’re more fortunate than most.

Hud fires assistant coaches left and right when things are going bad, it's part of the job. Not saying we should celebrate anyone being fired, and as CE noted they will be paid as well because they have contracts too, it wasn't like that when Gerald Broussard coached here, we all want this program to succeed and sometime changes and very hard decisions have to be made in order to do that.
