Turbine... please put this thread as the lead football coach replacement thread... and please consolidate all of the offshoots. This forum has a habit of starting a new fart thread just to get their fart heard.

John Grass is probably a safe pick for a coach

Stunk it up because Ogeron wouldn't let him run his offense. AD had to step in so he'd let Canada run it.

They don't have enough money to not let him go. He has to go.

Ian note something, I rarely listen to your interview with Mike Detillier these days and the reason is simple. I prefer to get the take of Mike on the Saints vs college and you start with college talk these days and it is often heavy on LSU. Many of the people on this board have only a passing interest in their program although we recognize thousands here do follow them. Today the Saints did not come up until only 10 minutes were left as I did listen off and on. Now this is your show and you can run it like you like. I may be a minority of one and the great majority of your listeners may like it that way. If so, you have no reason to change. However if you were to start with the Saints and give them the first portion you would gain at least one listener regularly in the 8 AM period.

Also, some of these coaches, maybe not Sumlin(with $10.5 million fresh in pocket)want to stay within a state SYSTEM like Texas has to get the Retirement benefits that 20+ years bring.

Deggs left in part due to the Retirement in Texas, Allison stayed in part in Alabama due to having just around 5 years left to get their SWEET retirement.

I'd say the first few days in January are the latest we could let this go especially with signing day in February a new coach would have to hit the recruiting trail with limited time.

Turbine, can you merge every thread with once single coaches name and this thread into one? Just name it, "Possible Coaches" or something.

WE DON'T NEED A THREAD FOR EVERY SINGLE PERSON WE COULD COME UP WITH!!!

So now we are going to use USL as a derogatory adverb? Not cool.
