Wow. How many legitimate D1 players do we have on defense? 5...6? The lack of speed at the LB position is startling. I’m all for a new direction, but our new coach will not come in and be successful. We are losing both of our tackles and a few of our DL that register a pulse. Rebuilding our defense will take more than one year.

True, but Hud has proved he cannot bring the talent, for what ever reason, to the Cajuns. This team has been on a downhill slide beginning his second year, and he is not the answer to bring them back up.

Sadly...i think it's being shown that he can't bring in good players unless he's allowed to cook their grades...

He doesn't have to do it in one year. I'd rather whoever's going to be here for a while take on the project and take the lumps than let Hud start it, get fired in a year, and have to deal with his choices for years to come.
