It was just ironic the Iowa and Wyoming boards did have a few extra L’s but went Louisiana mostly. Why Richmond went that way don’t know. McNeese syndrome I guess

It’s good to see the small steps being made on the name front. Far from over...

Scientific studies have concluded the smaller the stones of the average male from a university, the more frequently they add the second L. Richmond must have a lot of small stones.

Ever notice that no one uses LA as our abbreviation? Probably never will. Networks seem to like 3 letter abbreviations and go to ULL even when they show and say Louisiana. Sure wish we would drop LA and use ULA. Not totally legal, but who cares. We are being recognized as Louisiana and need a ULA reference to match that, not ULL. Who is going to prevent our use of that reference?

ESPN is starting to use UL for the abbreviation in stat boxes and what not, I'm fine with it

It hasn't even been in use for a year yet.

    I'm not surprised.

Louisiana is suddenly ( ) gaining traction. Perhaps its because of tacit memory support from "LA"

As of about week 4 ESPN switched the # from #ULL to #UL. I'm really pleased with ESPN of late.

I have read that there is a possibility that Tech and the Cajuns will play in the NO Bowl. I hope it works out that we play each other. Tech's bowl chances are questionable, but this match up would be good for the NO Bowl. However, I think CUSA determines which teams will be available for bowl selection if there are more eligible teams than games available to the conference. Would your fan base be in favor of this game?

FWIW, Georgetown beat Richmond by the same score, 82-76.
