No one takes a grown man in a habit seriously.

Won't be enough 6-6 teams this year to fill all the spot we will have to have a slot if we are 6-6 before a 5-7 team is selected

Give me 1 city in America that is a better place to be for a bowl game. If not a New Year's Day bowl they are all the same. I'd take Nola any day.

You are exactly right. None of these little bowls mean anything. Nor are they remembered by anyone other than the fans of the teams that played in them. Might as well play in a great facility in a city the majority of your fans can drive to.

You are correct. We either do something worth making a "better bowl" or we stay in NO. Just making a new venue... for the sake of "different"... won't earn us one modicum more respect. Too many of our most vigilant fans listen to our pion critics and think we'll shut them up. We'll never shut any of them up. They're mostly instate haters. Until our program is chiseled... and we have never gotten there yet... we are just a participant in minor bowl invites. And there's one single great minor bowl invite for us. I say we play it until we go big time. And there should be no argument the year we've exceeded a NO Bowl invite.

Is there no reason nola bowl cant change to a later day though? I think even better attendance would follow if more days to plan, (even other team better att)
