Four years ago we were talking about the Big 12. Now our football program looks more like it belongs in the Southland Conference.

Going to another NOLA Bowl does nothing to stir excitement in most of us. We had higher hopes for our program. Now, for most of us at least, reality has set in about what our program really is.

Of course you don't, you're an LSU fan. Outside of Cajunfield, we have facilities on par with the AAC. You'd have to be a fool not to see that.

This conference is chicken ____, and anyone with eyes can see that. The complaints are 1000000% warranted. A coach that is paid AAC level money should be able to deliver an outright conference titile once in 7 ____ing years.

Have you been to most AAC facilities? Once again, most fan bases feel they have the best of everything. In reality, they don't and end up blaming the head coach for not winning championships. Also, HUD got a big pay raise ( which is still less than most SEC Coordinators) but the rest of the staff makes as much as FCS assistant coaches. Rather than compare HUD's salary to the other SBC coaches, why not compare what the whole staff is making?

UL had the highest payroll for football staff after his salary increase and are still top 3 in the SBC right now. But we are certainly not competing in the top 3 in the conference as a football program.
