Whether we are bowl eligible or not, with the resources that we now have; 6-6 in this poo poo conference is unacceptable.

Four years ago we were talking about the Big 12. Now our football program looks more like it belongs in the Southland Conference.

Going to another NOLA Bowl does nothing to stir excitement in most of us. We had higher hopes for our program. Now, for most of us at least, reality has set in about what our program really is.

I'll take it a step further. There's FCS schools who don't just accept making the playoffs every year. Take a look at Nicholls. They're ecstatic to make an appearance this year. But if they continue to make the playoffs for the next 5 out of 6 years, don't you think there would be fans wanting to aim higher and win the whole thing? Some of these schools at that level aimed to move up after winning a National Championship. Two of those schools are playing us in the next two weeks.

Interesting that no one is even considering the possibility of finishing 7-5, if we beat Ga Southern and App State. What bowl invite options might we have with a 7-5 record?

Another 100 FBS schools feel the same way which is why 20% of all coaches get fired every year. Most fan bases are unrealistic and some are outright delusional. Also, the recourses "we now have" are still on the lower end of the "poo poo" conference in question, so I don't believe the complaints are warranted after consecutive 6-6 seasons. If the Cajuns make the NOLA Bowl, I will buy my allotment and spend the weekend in NOLA.

They have to beat App State first to prove me wrong into a 7-5 record. Judging by our past three meetings (all 14+ point losses), I still have my doubts.

Tell that to Troy University, a school in the Middle-of-Nowhere, Alabama who broke the Top 25 last season. Did I mention that they beat LSU earlier this year?

This has been exactly the kryptonite of our program. Can't do this, can't do that.....CAN'T CAN'T CAN'T.......

Western Michigan made a NY 6 bowl last season in the MAC with a lot less than what we have and yet, here we are complacent with another Nola Bowl berth.

Well there is always the possibility of what if? There is nothing in they way we've played and they how we are coached that gives me confidence in considering what if?
