The Cajuns look for bowl eligibility Saturday against Georgia Southern. If the Cajuns get to a bowl, New Orleans is not the likely destination. Mobile, Montgomery, Orlando and Arizona are the other bowl tie ins.

I'd go with a combination of the conference pointing to our smaller crowds the past few years. We're counting chickens too soon.

Jay must have called some of his contacts to get that info as he is traveling back to town today with the basketball team. They are probably not home yet. With the game at 12 on Dec. 16 and the Cajuns having been there so often, they likely figured a team who had not been to New Orleans previously might be a better draw.
