Didn't we play for less than 20 yards against Arky State?

Have you ever visited Orlando or Tampa? Both of those programs are situated in perfect settings for limitless growth.

We, on the other hand, have to exist in the great state of Louisiana. You know, a state that’s always broke and is run by a bunch of crooks hell bent on seeing to it that LSU is the only P5 player in the state. We’ll never be allowed to achieve what UCF and USF have.

That’s another bs excuse in the long line of bs excuses. Look, politics has played a major role over the years, but 2017 is nothing like 1957.

But on that note, shouldn’t it be even more imperative that we start taking extreme measures? Being that we’re sooooo far behind the curve?

As you could see in my exchange with Stuck In The Mudspeth, too many of our “supporters” view this program as “just entertainment”. I’d like SITM and all the others that feel as he does to go and do a little research on the economies of these college towns. Before and after success. Go and see how many businesses and restaurants shut down when LeBron left Cleveland and when LeBron came back.

I’m sure Tampa and Orlando are fine towns. But their not college towns and look at the response they’re getting. Places like Lubbock, Tuscaloosa, Gainesville, Stillwater, Morgantown, Eugene... these are NOTHING towns that support major universities.

Actually comparing apples to golden eggs. Both these schools have 40K plus students paying athletic fees. Each school has ten plus million in state to recruit from within a hundred-twenty five miles. Each school is getting at least ten times the TV revenue we are.

Still we haven’t come close to tapping our goose for some golden delicious apples.

If student fees are needed to compete, please explain La Tech..

La Tech doesn’t compete, they just compete better than us. You might also wonder about how they have way more revenue than us in a similar situation. That’s in us.
