I think we, as in the school and the fan base, are giving him WAY MORE than he would receive at majority of programs across the country... and I don't imply that to mean just salary (fan support, etc.)...
How stupid can one be. You think Robe is being paid what we can offer? clueless much? The university can pay him much much more ie..new softball coach.

Small program? You must not be a baseball fan. Have you seen Russo Park? The man is underpaid...period. When you pay a coach like tony that low of a salary considering what he has done, it sends a message to the coaching community that we don't pay according to what a good coach is worth.

You need to get transferred overseas cause you don't add any value to this conversation.

He’s been unwilling to move because he wanted to be close to his parents who are and we’re elderly. University used that to give him a low ball salary. He took it cause he did not want to leave his parents.

Well he still signed his name to the contract, so he’s good with the amount that he is being paid.

What indications are you referring to? Do you have some inside knowledge regarding Rob’s salary? Please enlighten me as to how you know Robe is fine with it.

He turned down the Ole Miss job to stay close to his aging parents. That’s why he took the low salary Einstein.

Coach Robe is underpaid compared to the new guy for all the obvious reasons stated. But damn, this just happened. And it happened after a very ugly public roll in the gravel with the old guy.

What we should draw from all of this is that Dr. Maggard is serious about our softball program. If he's serious about our softball program, you can bet he's serious about our baseball program, basketball program and our football program.

I say let the man, Maggard, concentrate on one disaster at a time. I'm betting Robe is pleased with what he sees in this AD and won't be going anywhere, certainly not because he'll feel underpaid when it's all said and done.

Maggard's biggest test comes after the football season is over.

A simple google search of "Tony Robichauxs salary" will tell you everything you need to know. The "inside knowledge" comes straight from the horses mouth, you dork.

You're basing our program size on the size of our stadium?..... LOL....we're swimming in so much money we couldn't even build a locker room to go with that palace... here's a clue Bueller: we're talking finances

Robe is making what the averge G5 coach makes

    Memphis Darren Schoenrock $176,083
    UConn Jim Penders $175,000
    USF Mark Kingston $140,000
    Cincinnati Ty Neal (resigned) $125,000

No one outside of the BIG 12 & SEC is making 300k

    THIS!!
Once again, a thread has morphed into a different subject, cause RP’ers have
gotten into a ____ing match over who knows MORE about something! Guys, can we all just
take a breath and let the dust settle over THIS before worrying about the next disaster??

All indications = staying here for 24 years; signing the dotted line on his contract; never complaining in public; praising the university and athletic department in public; being one of the best ambassadors for the program; doing his job and never complaining that he is getting a raw deal.

In fact, the only person that seems to be complaining is you...
