Transferring definitely won't get them on a team coached by Lotief, might not get some academic credits transferred and will likely result in a year off the field. Sounds like a lose, lose situation.

What are they gunna do the first time their boss gets fired at a real job, quit and move out of town?

i think this hire will be as good as we could have done to retain the team besides habetz.

These girls and their families are bright. I'd be surprised if more than a handful left.

The players only win/win is to do their very best here.

The new coach is a bona fide winner and has no connection to the hurt feelings.

    It is the clear choice.

You do realize simply getting to the WCWS is an enormous feat. To do so as a non P5, and a restricted budget, and TV deal is unbelievable.

Just because we’re totally bummed about some bad issues doesn’t deminish what he did.
Also many of the loses were at the hands of the eventual WCWS winners.

Wonder if it’ll be on all access. I’ve got a little time on my hands.

This looks to be excellent hire. I hope he can re-recruit the players and have some success this year to prove the cult wrong.

I think it would go a very long way if the cult would embrace this guy and give him a chance. Coupled with fans who are now going to buy season tickets for the first time and make the home opener a regional type atmosphere. Sell that park out and show those girls that they chose to play here for more than just a coach. It’s a family and culture. We have something very special here. Yvette tried to burn it down when she left. She was bitter, now I believe she still has a soft spot for the Cajuns. Lotief is bitter and trying to burn it down. But we will prevail because we always do.
