Now don't get me wrong, UL has produced all-american players, but they weren't the highly recruited players coming out of high school. So will our new head coach go after the big time studdettes or will he go after the same high quality players coach Lotief went after, the ones that had will and determination to succeed but not the physical traits to get highly recruited.

    Here's wishing him the best.
    Maybe that all changes now.

Only issue I have is fans of the program are now the cult. I guess if you have a different opinion or wanted as much info from all sources as possible are cultists. I don't follow anyone's opinion but my own, and watched years of softball as well as years of practice time. I don't make any personal evaluations by only hearing one side of an argument. I also don't think you demonize players who make their own choices in this situation ether which has become the common theme as well.

That being said, I don't think they could have made a better hire considering the timing.

Is there a link to see a video of the press conference?

According to foote, base salary around $170k, with $30k deferred if he is still employed at end of year. Max contract with incentives is around $262,333.

And with this great hire, there's still goons on social media talking about how the university lost a great coach in ML. Seriously, I hope these couillions don't work in HR.

Watch it now. Not all of us fall into that cult. Most of us are free thinkers. But there are some. I'll leave it at that. Folks I have to sit near for years to come. Then again, they may not come back.

I have no problems with the people who like Mike, and there is no question he was a great Softball Coach (based on wins and losses). But to think that Dr. Savoie, Dr, Maggard and this University would fire one of the most successful Softball Coaches in the country for no legitimate reason is ludicrous!

The problem that I have the most is that people are totally ignoring allegations that are sickening just because he won games. Penn State went through the same thing a few years ago with Joe Pa. Obviously, this isn't as bad; but to be blinded of abuse because of a few wins and to actually think that the university is on some phantom witch hunt is hilarious and sad at the same time. It also gives the rest of our fan base a bad name.

But with that said, I like Coach Glasco and what he brings to our program. Come February, I will be at Lamson Park cheering on our girls to victory.
