We have a coach with experience at 3 SEC schools. That's a very impressive resume.
He has also coached at the travel ball and high school levels prior to entering the collegiate coaching game. So he has ties with travel ball in Texas and Georgia. He also recruited Florida while at Georgia, so this guy has contacts in prime recruiting areas. The only question will be his staff and the money for them.
He definitely has created a lot of relationships in the softball world. This should definitely broaden our appeal outside of the success that we already have as a program. I look forward to seeing what he has to bring to the table.
If he will embrace the culture and the cult will give him a chance, this may work out well. 🙏
UL has had good fortune hiring a hitting coach that had Texas A&M on the resume
