These are just the ones that have happened so far. I know I missed a few.
Yeah I think that was a typo. With PJ and Cedric, we have two lethal deep shooters. They had some nice pull-up and catch and shoot threes each.
PJ had a solid game, even handling the ball. I thought he showed he can make smart decisions from the point and get passes into the guys who need the ball.
Games like this obviously don't show you much and we got cute trying to lob a few times and make silly passes, but I liked seeing guys hit open shots at the bare minimum.
Gant didn't show off great hands at times, but he is an athlete. He can be a great rebounder just based off of his jumping ability.
The team was sloppy in first half. Obviously, not amped for game and that is understandable. Stove would have helped in that regard as he brings it every night. However, it was good to see the team hit 50% of three point shots. Note just about every one of those was a wide open look which does say something positive about execution in the second half. It was encouraging to see Hardy especially hit a few as he has been in a slump since the middle of last season. Maybe that will get him going for future games. Finally, Russell has as smooth a stroke as any player I have seen in all my years of watching Cajun basketball.
