My only concern with either Houston or Grass is that neither have been at any one place long enough to have had "their" recruits. Obviously, both can coach, as their W/L %s are really good. But in all instances, they've come in and led existing rosters to exceptional records.

I agree with what you're saying. But didn't we just do that? Coach came in and won with existing players. Couldn't sustain the success once those guys were gone.

Not saying these two guys can't, it's just a minor concern. I'd take either of them...yesterday

He can make a go but they probably will have little to no interest in him....no signature wins, no top 25 appearance, 1 co-conference championship in 7 years, and possibly 3 straight loosing seasons. If your Mississippi State would you hire him?

That would be amazing. Sumlin is a very good coach and an even better person. But I will not hold my breath waiting for this to happen. I do think he will get let go at aTm.
