  1. UL Football With Lewis hurt, so much for extinguishing UL's QB talk

Jordan Davis, UL's starting QB for the year's first five games, is back in the mix after Levi Lewis sprains an ankle at Ole Miss

.....please now put in our lefty/righty QB series with Lewis running or passing left and JD going right.....begged the coaches to do this with Gathier and did see The Monroes kill the real Baylor with it!!!

I have no issues with playing both rest of season

Can be competition for next year. But I feel Lewis will start this week

When you make the decision to pull a redshirt off of freshman, you are making the decision for the remainder of the year if not longer. A healthy Lewis must start and play every game going forward. Period.

Agree. If lewis is healthy he should be out there. Period.

I'm not going to speculate but Hud will simply flip a coin and play whoever. Very little of what he does makes sense.

Yeah, that wouldn't be too predictable. We are predictable enough as it is without signaling which side of the field we will attack based on the dexterity of our QB.

    Ah the quarterback carrousel continues.

Around and around we go, we go.

We usually need 2 QB's every season. If we have to use 3 QB's in a season, " So be it". Just win baby. Next 3 games are critical.

Is it a high ankle sprain or a regular one. If high ankle it likely won’t be good for a while. Is a medical RS an option for Lewis?

I saw they put Arceneaux in at the end of the Ole Miss game. Interesting.

Lewis is eligible for a medical redshirt at this stage. However at this stage that is not likely as all indications are he will start Saturday.
