New Mexico State has 2 weeks to prepare for us... Not looking better either.

Prepare for what exactly? I have no frakin idea what we are doing week in or out. Next week we might not kick because all of our kickers are suspended. Which qb is actually playing? What dumbas denfense will try to play? Its amazing we dont win more because the other coach defaults to base d and o...which we cant seem handle.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe we get an extra 100K for rolling over.

AHahahah!!!! Thank You for this post! This is the first thing about the game today that has made me smile.

It’s been a while since you made a post complaining about the refs while Cajuns were getting completely demolished!

Whatever it is, it sucks. It just hit me reading what you just said and I just said. We're a compliant hooker.

Did anyone think the targeting call on Jacque Boudreaux was legit?

The NCAA rule for reviewing targeting allows the call to stand, be confirmed, or reversed. This means there’s a presumption of targeting and requires indisputable evidence that there was not targeting. Shouldn’t it be the opposite; as in, there must be indisputable evidence that there was targeting? You’re Ejecting a player for a call on the field that may not be right, but is upheld because there’s no evidence it wasn’t wrong. That’s crap.

Sounds consistent with all other replays, the field is the default, and evidence must overturn? Even in baseball.

Sorry if i missed it, but could someone repost any information about the ole miss sanctions, thanks.

This isn’t a normal review though. No other review is allowed to kick a player out. Is there even another review for the assessment of a penalty in college football?

Good point, i am not informed on this topic, sorry.

But i dont think sec officials have a problem of "not calling it enough"

But it sounds like he is already kicked out, and the review has chance to put him back in?

I do find it odd the player has to be escorted off the field immediately, into the locker room. Is he really a threat from the sideline? If fouled out in basketball and no arguing you can stay on bench

If a call is confirmed, evidence is there to confirm it’s right. When allowed to stand there isn’t enough evidence to make a call. Clearly if there’s no evidence to change a target call , it should stand.

Or since it imposes a penalty, it should have to be confirmed. Like I said, is there any other review where a penalty could be assessed?

    I’m just saying my opinion.

Okay I’d like our guy not to have a target penalty. But I think it’s crazy to require a confirmation regardless of consequences. I’m pretty much sick of the camera in about 15% of calls.
