When the UL basketball team played at Georgia last season, Ragin’ Cajuns coach Bob Marlin joked with Bulldogs coach Mark Fox about leaving his “SEC guys” at home.

When the Cajuns open their 2017-18 season Friday night at Ole Miss, Marlin will have those “SEC guys”_— former South Carolina point guard_ Marcus Stroman and ex-Missouri big man JaKeenan Gant_—_with him,_along with a third transfer from a major-conference program, former Southern Cal guard Malik Marquetti.
