Ole Miss is a mediocre team with a bad defense. Come to think of it so are we! Logic says we get blown out , but I could see Ole Miss laying an egg to make it interesting. Bottom line, if we are ever going to break our SEC futility streak, this weekend presents a great opportunity.

Ole Miss is mediocre because of their problems on defense. Offensively however, they have had success in most games. They have lots of tall, strong, and fast receivers. Leaving the concerns people have with the coach out of this, it does not seem like a good matchup for us because of their receiving corps. Physically, Simeon Thomas can match up with them but we all know he tends to give up big plays. Tracy Walker is another of our better secondary guys but he also tends to be out of position as he tries to cover up the mistakes of others. We have to be able to move the ball to keep our defense off the field as they will have their hands full.
