Thread: Baseball season tickets and reseating

Default Baseball season tickets and reseating

Anyone know when baseball renewals will be sent out? I would have expected this by now, based on the RCAF newsletter a couple weeks ago which stated the RCAF priority point reseating process (choose or move, depending on individual situations) would begin Nov. 28. That is a pretty specific date and I would imagine that renewal deadline should be before that date.

That date is the start of renewals. Part of renewals is seating placement. It will be the same process used for basketball. I would imagine you will get your notice within the week or so leading up to that date

Thanks... Seems like they would renew first, then place... That way seats that are not being renewed (for whatever reason) would be freed and added to available inventory.

The grandstand and bleacher seating persons were identified by last year's renewals. Do you think that due to some concerns about placements discussed earlier they may be looking at all grandstand ticket holders from last year as reseatining now rather than assigning them first?

I bought grandstand last year. Of course I’ve got no seat selected yet because I wasn’t a ticket holder in 2016. I’m supposed to get seating after the renewables from 2016 get their comparable seats.

    Things getting very close timewise.

Same here. Also, when reading the newsletter I was kind of confused with this part:

"Fans who purchased grandstand seats for the 2017 season were informed of their 2018 seat location through calls made by the Cajundome staff at the end of the 2017 baseball season."

So I called Matt C. and he explained it was a typo....it should've read: "Fans who purchased grandstand seats for the 2016 season....."

I also tried to pin him down to what was left, i.e., if the only option left were in what I call the 'burn section' (the side that gets the sun), and his only comment was that 'fans will get to love the burn section.'

Nah... Go for the discount. As a Friday night starter you probably expect him to pitch at least 15-20 games and he is obviously a premier reason for attending. I'd say we hit them up for a 25-30% discount.

But the problem is.. I was sold tickets under the pretense that this was going to be a top 25 team. I don't know how I can possibly show up and support a product I didn't pay for. I mean, this is America, right? Customer is always right 90.

You know, I just don't think the peanuts will be as spicy, the beer will be as cold, or the caremel popcorn will be as crack-a-licious.. And you know what else? I'm sick of not winning the 50/50 raffle! As a matter of fact, I think it's damn rigged! Nay, I know it's rigged! Freakin' crooked casino they're running over there..

    I just can't...
