I think by "entertainment value" he meant entertaining clients, potential clients, etc.
The Stadium Club is $500 extra (per seat) in addition to your regular season ticket cost.
At my appointment, I asked Casbon how many stadium club spots are available. He replied, "About 400, and it looks like it may already be sold out. People who do not get in will be put on a waiting list."
I did ask Mat about it and he told me $500 will get you in plus the food would be higher quality than concessions. But if you have to pay for drinks and food over the $500, well for $18/game just for AC is a bit much.
According to Harris... his understanding... includes "free" basic concessions such as popcorn and water/soft drinks and upgraded cash bar and food menu for sale.
Everyone has their own reasons for buying some luxury. I've got mine, and the club is a great value to me. People shouldn't presume my motivation or that I've got money to burn, or am engaged in conspicuous spending to impress anyone.
The club seating means a lot to me. I'm very thankful such an option exists.
Had my appt today. Was able to get our 5 seats together in 109 luckily. There's now pretty much none available in 106-109 other than random singles or the occassional 2-together. 110 still has plenty of great seats though.
Express,
I don't think most on this board feel like those that purchase a Club Passes are doing so just to impress others. I'm happy for those that choose to do so and that the option is available. I for one could have purchased one or two Passes, but just didn't feel like it was something I wanted to do. I'm glad that UL has another revenue stream available in the form of this very nice Stadium Club!
Have fun and enjoy it.
