True Dave. On top of that, some of the < 125 RPI have horrible records. We’re talking 5-18, 10-14. Etc If the Cajuns can put up a string of wins to close the regular season and not get bumped in the Conference Tournament, we may have a shot.

Looking at the standings, if we were to tank against TxSt and UTA, we’d still finish no worse than 5th seed. That means an opening round game and would require 4 wins in a row to win the tournament. If we win the last two, we only need 2 wins to take the tournament so 4 wins either way. But single-digit losses on the year looks better.
No such luck. Our RPI only moved to 150. Texas state is at 74, ArkSt is at 93, Coastal Ca is at 105 and So Al is at 115. LSU is sitting at 35 with a 17-7 record. Western Kentucky is still kicking butt at 27-2 with a 32 RPI.
I’ll never forget WKU was ranked #29 and came to EKL in 2013. We took 3 of 5 sets from them and snapped a 38 game conference win streak.
Got to get it done in the tourney.
