Which throw did he make tonight that made you think he can “make the throws? I’m not killing the kid, I thought he was ok. But the truth is, he’s a typical Hud QB. An athlete that throws. He’s obviously a gifted runner.

But his passing game is a long way away. Yes, we realize it was start #1. And that’s fine. Just stating what happened on the field.

This same thing happened with Jordan Davis. He played 1 game and everyone was ready to crown him. Based on his athletic ability.

Are you saying HUD devises game plans where his QB’s get hurt? Do other high priced coaches do the same?

Our QBs get hurt because we have a below average OL and all our QB’s are not good passers and run at the first sight of pressure.

I thought he had a strong arm and was fairly accurate. The only reason his out route was not intercepted was because he had a lot of velocity on it. Agree with the Davis comparison, but I never liked Davis’s sideline demeanor and I hear Lewis has a good head on his shoulders. We will see, but I am hopeful.

I was hoping to see someone "special" with Lewis. He didn't make any plays that Davis or Nunez couldn't.
What I did see is Hud gets to run his crappy zone read offense with Levi.

I like Levi and believe he will be a good college QB. I do not like our revolving door of QB.

This is a valid criticism. Ok, we hit them in the mouth and caught the completely off guard. USA adjusted, where is our counter? It’s probably because all out QBs are limited, but it is frustrating.

LL had 250 yds of offense and was only allowed to throw 5 times in the second half. His legs alone accounted for 1/3 of our offense. Once he gets settled in and they open up the play book this guy is going to explode.
Yall are acting like he is a 3rd or 4th year guy. They kept it simple, he executed, we won.

Our play calling went one dimensional bc we had a new QB and a decent lead. Huds done this for years. Nothing new.

TD pass to Jaquet.... Nunez takes a sack on that play. That's one example
