Cliff, I will post this one more time for you guys that continually bring up Habetz. She is not interested period. She has stated so recently and several family members told a few people this wek the same. She turned down an interview at LSU after Pat Murphy declined the job. She wants to stay at Alabama in the SEC and I can't see her here in Lafayette at Lotief's last salary.

T you can say that all you want. it is still a call you have to make, it would not be in the university's best interest to take cajunt's word on this and not call her. let alyson tell them no, not just some people said she would say no, so we decided not to call her.

By all means make the call, but I do not expect us to get some home discount. She is currently making more than what we paid Lotief. I checked on it when her name came up last year because of discussions concerning Lotief's health. So yes, we should make the call but I have very little expectations she is interested coaching in the SBC.

Folks there’s no Yvette, or Loteif’s out there. Everyone we can get will have huge question marks. Sure there’s a diamond in the rough out there, but that’s why they’re called that. Additionally if we find that diamond don’t forget we’re leasing it, some P5 will pluck them away before the ink is fully dried on the contract.

Mike’s problems made this moment come sooner than it should, but that day was coming just as that day is coming in baseball. Coaching gurus who love Acadiana are rare.

this post makes no sense at all. no yvette or lotiefs. what was yvette doing before she came here? what was coach stefni doing before being hired by UL? so we got two diamonds in the rough, and then you say that they wont stay as long as it takes for ink to dry, yet yvette was here for years, and yes she left but then came the lotiefs, and no P5 plucked them away.
