Sometimes being thrown into the fire is the best way to grow and learn in sports and in life._ It's not always the most sought after course of action, but in the long run it can pay off with young players gaining experience beyond their years._ The backcourt for the 2017-18 Louisiana's women's basketball team is being asked to handle that hurdle of growing up fast, with several freshmen being thrust into key roles entering the season.
