Hopefully we will gel well so we can prove the 5th place vote is wrong. We do have some major question marks so not surprised by that prediction.
The league will be good this year. I really believe that. Maybe an upper tier G5.

I predict the Starting lineup will be the three transfers along with Bartley and Washington. The top three guys off the bench could be Miller, Stove, and freshman Cedric Russell. Russell will generally play point Guard. I would not be surprised if the three main guys off the bench played as much as some starters and on some nights more. Stove especially will be key there as he has the attitude to do what is best for team and will be a leader. Finally the squad did OK in yesterday’s closed scrimmage against a D1 opponent. I can’t comment further on that contest.

I'm pretty sure he said he couldn't comment further on that.

I can't wait to see what we have this year. I miss good basketball.

i think in some games we see him a lot and others not much. When we are playing against a physical team PJ seems to get pushed around and knocked off his game. When he can shoot and get in a rhythm is when he is most effective.

    Have us pegged at #5

Erick Neal, who might just be the best point guard in the league ... Few lines down Tookie not only has the best nickname in the conference, but he's also the best point guard.. WAT

    I love G5 basketball coverage
SI has us in the tournament...guess they think we are better than 5th in the Belt.

So looking at this, if you break our 15 down to Starting 5, Backup 5 and Last 5. Here is what I think, by the way not a bad 2nd team.

    Starting 5
    G Stroman
    G Bartley
    G Marquetti
    F Gant
    F Washington

    Backup 5
    G Russell
    G Stove
    G Evans/Hardy
    F Davis
    F Miller

    Last 5
    G Evans/Hardy
    G Aucoin (mopup duty only)
    G Broussard (mopup duty only)
    F McCoy (probably redshirt)
    C Stalcup

I can honestly care less either way we are viewed. We've been picked to win the whole conference before and fallen on our face. Other times we've been picked lower and caught fire in the conference tournament to go to the dance. I'm more concerned about winning the conference title outright. To me, that's a great accomplishment and I would be extremely proud of this team if we were able to accomplish that. It shows consistency throughout an entire season which is something we've never had from a Marlin led team. You get there, the conference tournament is within our grasp.
