This is what’s going to happen this year. We’re (hopefully) going to have a great year. We’ll probably lose a few games we weren’t expecting to lose (because that’s basketball.) Given our strength of schedule we won’t have a particularly high RPI. Given our RPI we won’t get an at-large bid. And unless we manage to end up with only one or two losses at the end of the season we won’t be ranked.
I've seen people on here with low expectations work themselves into even bigger frenzies. Frenzy'ing is not a condition of unrealized expectations. It's an individual emotional instability trait. You either have the frenzy gene... or you do not.

Men's basketball has gotten sad. Low SOS = low RPI = low ranking... just about no matter the record! That freaking sucks! (Frenzy gene just got triggered).

It's not the walking distance just the ease of getting in and out.

    I prefer elyptical. 40 minutes 5 times a week.

Those are tough. You should switch to an elliptical.

Yeah, nearly impossible. Little Rock only lost 3 games in the regular season, beat a Big East school, and they couldn’t crack the top 40 in the RPI, much less sniff a Top 25 ranking. So it’s not impossible, but it’s pretty damn close.

Sorry I annoyed you with reality.

Then maybe you need a heavier tampon.

Seriously though, that’s the worst excuse ever.

Not sure about the hurricane relief possibility. However you are allowed either two exhibitions or one "secret scrimmage" and one exhibition. This year we are having one exhibition (week from tomorrow night) and one "secret" scrimmage. The secret affair is virtually always against another D1 school. Otherwise you would just take the two exhibitions. This secret scrimmage is really a true game with regular officials used. It's just that no outsiders are allowed to witness it and results cannot be made public in any way. I can tell you that our secret scrimmage is this weekend here in Lafayette. Opponent is a Division 1 state school that we do not play in the regular season.

While we have experience returning, we're losing the rock of our team for the past 3 years, and that's at the most important position on the floor, PG.
....I would definitely monitor our meals after the US workers that developed what I think was brain damage!!!

Those are tough too. I can't do 40 minutes on mine.

When you are Medicare eligible I'm not sure that would make much difference.
