I believe Ray refuses to play anything but QB

Only reason we landed him from big schools like ole miss is bc they wanted him to be anything but qb and we told h he'd have opportunity here. Just gotta bite the bullet of him not working out/not developing as a passer

Yup and hes had his shot at qb for almost 3 years! He either needs to accept the fact that he isnt a qb and switch positions or move on. It sucks because he is probably one of best athletes we had the past 5 years, but his talents are being wasted at qb

Going 8/4 is okay, but not really winning at a level to change minds, and four years is not nearly enough time to change a lifetime culture of futility.

I think he's going to do it. He's going to put him through some serious scrutiny at practice, and see if Levi is partially ready. Hud doesn't have anything to lose. He not only needs a QB. he needs one with wheels. Levi has wheels. and he's got a good arm. If he shows well in practice. I predict Hud pulls his redshirt. People think it's wasting a year (half year) for Levi. But in reality, if he plays this year, he comes into next competing as the starter. It would be a lot harder for him to start next year without this year's experience.

If Hud thought Levi could come in and solve some of Hud's issues. he'd do it. If he doesn't pull his redshirt, it won't be because he's thinking of Levi's future. He'll have realized that Levi just isn't ready. and that he has plenty of time to get Nunez and/or JD back in action. JMO

You are correct. If there was a realistic chance Levi could fix things for Hud, he'd do it in the blink of an eye.
