With Elijah Mitchell out for the season, UL's depth at running back behind Trey Ragas will be tested

Mitchell is a big loss for the offense.

Considering that Elijah Mitchell got hurt (or hurt with finality) on the 3rd of 3 straight carries, you have to consider workload and opponents keying in on tendencies.

Tough break for Mitchell. Wish him a speedy recovery. Hoggins and Calais can take those reps next week.

I wasn't able to watch the game but I did see Calais had one rush for 7 yards and then nothing after that. I'm not understanding why he doesn't touch the ball more especially now that Mitchell is out for the year. He is dynamic. Give him the ball in space and watch him go.

Absolutely a tough break and we might be playing the rest of the year without our true number one...but that stable is more than capable of wrecking shop!

Coach Hud said Mitchell's injury was because of a cut he made, not any physical contact. I always wonder about turf when I hear something like that.

Have they said exactly what the injury is....other than his foot?

IMO it's a medical privacy issue. Pretty sure Mitchell has to okay any release of his condition.

I think Mitchell's surgery is tomorrow. Good luck to him in that ordeal.

I've heard some insight on the injury but won't comment. Sound familiar? But I really have.

If by familiar you mean stating over and over that you know the whole truth for 100% certainty but won’t share it and then attacks and insults anyone who shares their opinion or insight then yes, it sounds very familiar.

In fact, it sounds just like 90% of Ragin’ Pagin threads over the last few years since a certain member has joined the site.
