I like games 5-6 defense but I really miss games 1-4 offense. After the first two drives it’s been conservative and ineffective

Risk off when we have the lead. That teaches the d to play for 4 quarters. We kept scoring in the other games/ seems to have been the problem. Then just when turnover battle and instavictory.

We should never rest on our laurels. Our program isn't good enough to ever rest on our laurels. You can count on Hud to get a lead and then try and milk it. If we could succeed doing nothing but run the football... that's one thing. But this is the type of game we need to allow our QB and his WRs to develop. It will pay dividends later... and Texas State is a perfect candidate to have a lead and build a bigger one.

Why are we running outside/zone on 3rd/4th and short? We have a pretty good line we should use them. Same thing with those naked roll outs. Use the line to block
