If hud is reading this...put in a fake snap count. Idaho was in the back field most of the second half.

I still say the O line need to protect Nunez and we have a winner. Give him that 3-4 seconds and he will rip the DB to hell......than Ragas can run over them.

Come on man. We won. Did you expect to win today? I certainly didn't. No sunshine being pumped, just enjoy it. I don't care if we beat Lafayette High. It counts, it was on the road on a game most of us marked an L, and it feels good.

When is the snap, on the first, second or third hand clap?...

    Road wins are important.

We did get them to jump off sides a few times though.

Yep, let's enjoy the win because not many picked UL to win this game including myself. Let's see if we can get back-to-back wins Thursday Night! Credit to the staff and the athletes for fighting through a tough second half to hang on.

It was stupid going to a 7 step drop the way our line blocks on the edges. We almost shot ourselves in the foot with the second half play calling. But it is nice to get a "W"!

Credit where credit is due - tough road trip but got a W. D looked better

That team basically stomped us last year for OUR homecoming. We returned the favor for theirs. It's a good day.

Just the way Mitchell left the field... it didn't appear to be a bad ankle sprain... but that's no way to know. I thought we played well with Nunez taking snaps... with the exception of some bad play calling down the stretch (we needed to kill clock and keep a drive alive... but we chose to go for long shot long balls).

I agree with T that we don't block the edge rushers well. For any coach out there... you make edge rushers pay for that... you don't keep dropping back. Quick drop and fire... roll out... but don't just keep believing we can do something we can't. And our receivers need to be taught that once the QB gets chased... come back to him. Nunez is elusive enough to get the ball to you. But you don't just keep running out the back end of a route.

Ragas and Malone are studs. If our staff doesn't know what to do with Ragas in the backfield, Malone in the slot, and all of those tall receivers... and Nunez... they're not worth squat. We should be piling on the points.

Lastly, the defense played quite well. Idaho may not be world beaters... but despite their coaching going brain dead yesterday... they do have some weapons. I was impressed all around with our defense. They played 60 minutes of hustle. I think they tasted some success and liked it. I hope that carries on.
