Years ago, Poppa Falwell spoke of Liberty being the next Notre Dame.

What if this was about broadcast abilities? What if the $25 million included production equipment for Cajun Field and other Sunbelt members?

    Yeah, its Wikipedia, but

"The LFSN (Liberty Flames Sports Network) broadcasts Liberty Flames and men’s basketball games to select television stations in Virginia. Liberty Flames football, on the other hand, can be seen in up to 90 million households throughout the contiguous 48 states and the Anchorage, Alaska area.

The LFSN’s nationwide availability of Flames football on television is due in part of religious television networks and stations having syndication rights to carry them well beyond the Lynchburg/Roanoke media market, especially when not featured on major commercial television networks. The networks include JUCE TV (a unit of the Trinity Broadcasting Network, available on the third digital subchannel of all TBN owned-and-operated stations), The Walk TV, and the Tri-State Christian Television network. All three of those networks are available over-the-air, cable, satellite, as well as on the Roku digital media receiver. In addition, all three channels are also available through the use of free-to-air satellite television equipment. Cable-exclusive children’s religious network Kids & Teens TV (Dish Network channel 264) also airs Liberty Flames football."

    Just sayin'.

That was their entire comment... GFY - obviously the acronym for "Good For You" - but they left no username so that I could thank them for the encouraging words.

Well I’m glad they’re being kind and mature with their dots.

If you can tap into that market. Apparently they send you all of their money and all you have to do is pray for them. Also you can do pretty much anything shady and you are forgiven. Hell of a business model. You see the house that God bought for Osteen?

"God wants us to have a competitive FBS Football team, so that he can spread the word to all the heathens who imbibe alcohol and drugs while watching football games. God is looking out for you, because if these degenerates watch their team lose, they will get angry and invade your home looking for violent retribution. God doesn't want you to be beaten within an inch of your life by college football hooligans. Send all the money you can spare to the 700 Club Athletic Foundation. God bless you."

I think Liberty's time frame is off by give or take a few billion years but their curriculum is easy to attack and pinpoint because of its consistency.
Actually, we do have a decent idea of what they are teaching. The curriculum in colleges aren’t nearly as strict as in high schools, but they still exist. Before a professor teaches a course the syllabus, textbooks, teaching materials, etc. need to be approved by department chairs and state education boards, not to mention oversight from accreditation organizations. This institutional oversight keeps professors from going rogue and teaching wackadoodle things, even if they hold some wackadoodle beliefs.

Again, the problem with Liberty is that their wackadoodle beliefs are institutionalized. It is hard to overstate just how wackadoodle it is to say the earth is only 6,000 years old and how it ruins so much of their credibility as a university.

That is wackadoodle. Nearly as wackadoodle as teaching there are more than two genders.

    Wackadoodle is fun to type.

Ideally, students leave school with the ability to think, not just blindly follow the pack. Ideally, they learn that others have their own ideas and they can discuss those ideas without being called libtard, GOPazi, snowflake, etc. Ideally, they leave understanding that if your argument begins with denigration, you've already lost. Ideally, they graduate equipped to make the world a better place than the one they entered, for everyone. Ideally.

Not sure what you mean by gender but you could research Klinefelter's and Turners syndromes. Interesting stuff.

6,000 is nuts its not Bible based.

Semi knowledge in the wrong hands can be dangerous, but 6,000 is not dangerous.

UL's Professor Whitmire and his Planet X theories in the wrong hands (minds) can be dangerous.
