Early this month when USA Today quoted Scott Farmer extensively about money games, I suspected he was marketing himself.

Odessa is near Midland and they are rolling in oil money now. The Permian Basin projects are much more viable at $50/bbl than the Gulf of Mexico projects.

I'm in Odessa at least once a month these days. I've visited the UT-Odessa campus (that's the only campus I've ever seen in Odessa)to check it out. It's small but it's very nice. Everything is practically brand new. One neat thing of note about their campus is that they've got a life size replica of Stonehenge that you can visit.

Odessa College, referred to as OC, is a public two-year junior college based in Odessa, Texas, serving the people of Ector County and the Permian Basin. It was established in 1946 and currently enrolls about 5,000 annually.

As far as a head FB coach, Stokeley got buried by The Fossil, Toothpick was not a serious hire, Bustle was too old to be in a position to move on, and Smedium crashed and burned on his own.

With the exception of Nelson, the mistake is made upon hiring, no graveyard needed.
