May have earned more playing time? WTH does it take to earn playing time after that performance?

And considering he had zero before the game it's an interesting perspective

Hudspeth: “I believe you don’t lose your job to injury.”

    Gautier: Say What?

    Turbine: See, Hud can change.

Up until the injury Davis was every bit as good of a passer and more of a run threat.

Nunez makes quicker decisions than Davis as far as when he should run once pocket breaks down. I noticed that in the spring game and a scrimmage I attended. I do not know nearly as much about football as CajunT, Man About Town, or BasinBear. However, I do know that how quickly a QB makes decisions is a prime factor in how much success they have. I remember Bobby Hebert saying something interesting when he played for the Saints. His main prayer the night before a game was a request for the Lord to keep him safe and to make quick decisions. Even if you make the wrong decision it is better if made quickly. Of course that is easy to say here when in the heat of battle, half a second is the difference between making a decision quick enough or too late.

Sorry Mike.... of those 3 mentioned... 1 was D1 coach.... 1 interviewed high school athletes...and the other... pretty sure has been spotted with the Cajun Chickens old satellite and headphones, sitting on the top row of Lamson Park during football practices eavesdropping.... 1 definitely qualified....possibly 2.

Brutal CajunJeaux, but definitely funny. Just for the record, I haven't proclaimed Nunez better than Davis at this point. I did say Nunez has a big set on him and showed it Saturday night.

I watched Davis limp off the field after the second series, so I had no problem with him coming out of the game. I'm still confused as to why Hudspeth threw him under the bus saying he was "like a deer in the headlights", at halftime.

Hud can't get out of his own way. Dude is a moron. He also pretty much proved not putting Nunez in against Tx A&M in the 2nd half was a bone heade move.
