Thread: Paul Petrino

    Default Paul Petrino

With Idaho soon to be 1AA (will always be 1A and 1AA to me) and the success Paul Petrino has had there, if many of you get your wish and hud is gone at the years end, would you want him to be considered? He has probably been the most successful coach in Idaho since the cajuns started playing them years ago. I da ho is not a very easy place to recruit to. He would have way more talent closer to home here than in there.

Is this a coach worth looking at?

We need a coach with strong recruiting ties to the states of Louisiana, Texas, and Florida, but most importantly Louisiana. Additionally great salesman, organizer, and confident enough to surround himself with people he thinks are smarter than himself. That man doesn't have a name we're aware of yet, but probably worked at Missouri.

    HC - Will Hall

DC - Tim Rebowe. He will fix the defense and our recruiting.

I would consider him. Here are two other names to consider. Art Briles's son who was OC under his dad is now the OC for Lane Kiffin at FAU and Steve Spurrier's son who I believe was OC under his dad and coached with him during his time with the Redskins.

That's what Tech has been doing with their last three hires, Dooley, Dykes, and now Holtz. Seemed to work pretty good for them.
